The Tennessee Public Safety Network staff and volunteers provide P.O.S.T. Certified presentations and in-service training to numerous agencies and departments throughout the year. 

Training Director, Peter Cove, teaches stress inoculation to all new recruits at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. 

Additionally, training is provided to law enforcement officers, corrections personnel, and dispatchers in P.O.S.T. approved Critical Incident Stress Debriefing for Law Enforcement (CISD) and advanced Peer Support.  To receive the basic training class in CISD, applicants should preferably have been employed in law enforcement a minimum of five years and have experienced a critical incident during the performance of their duties.
